The Bertha & Edith mine is located in Goochland County, Virginia on the east side of the Big Byrd Creek. The mines were first worked before the Civil War. The Berta & Edith Gold Mining Company purchased the mineral rights in 1877.
Consolidated Pacific Mining Company was located in the Bodie Hills of Mono County California.
