The Archive contain many international note samples including this one from Germany, 1882. Crane sold bank not paper to the American Bank Note Company which produced foreign currency.
The U.S. $1 has been included for size comparison with this Cuban 5 peso note from 1896. At the very bottom of the note, you can see ‘American Bank Note Company’.
This silver certificate from the Philippines is from 1906.
